Air Works - Art for one day
in co-operation with Werkstatt Kollerschlag
The classical raw materials in sculpture have always been stone and wood, more recently metal, ceramic or glass too. According to today's widely extended definition of Art all kinds of materials and non-materials are being used by artists. But air?
With the help of funds provided by Borealis AG which are destined to transform Linz into a vibrating center of international reasearch and development and curated by Edelbert Köb (Director of the Museum of Modern Art Vienna) 17 renowned Austrian artists create sculptures for one day. Sculptures made of air and a thin plastic skin.
