Alexandra Roozen graduated from the St. Joost Academy of Fine Arts, completed further training at WdKA for teaching visual arts, and worked on various projects, including the artist program of the Youngeun Museum in South Korea (3 months), MAKE, Plaatsmaken, MASEREEL (BE), and the IK Pavilion (Atelier Mondriaan Fund).
She lives and works in Rotterdam (NL).

Alexandra Roozen has been an advisor to the grant committee of the Center for Visual Arts Rotterdam since 2025. From 2011 to 2024, she was a (core) lecturer in visual arts at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. Furthermore, she gives guest lectures and masterclasses at art institutions including the Frank Mohr as part of the Work & Practice Program and at the Drawing Center Diepenheim.
